Never mix them up again!

On confond souvent le verbe ATTENDRE avec le verbe anglais TO ATTEND.

Le verbe ATTENDRE ne veut pas dire TO ATTEND, mais TO WAIT (FOR), TO EXPECT.

The verb ATTENDRE is often mixed up with the English verb TO ATTEND.

The verb ATTENDRE doesn’t mean TO ATTEND, but TO WAIT (FOR), TO EXPECT.

  • Nous attendons le bus.

Pour dire TO ATTEND, il faut utiliser le verbe ASSISTER À.

To say TO ATTEND, you need to use the verb ASSISTER À.

  • Il assiste à une réunion.
