Some opposites in French – part 4

You have already learnt a few opposites in French in some of my previous posts: Opposites in French (1), Opposites in French (2), Opposites in French (3)

Now comes part 4 with some new opposites that I think can be useful. When it is an adjective, I’ve put the feminine form in parenthesis.

  • mouillé (mouillée) = wet
  • sec (sèche) = dry
  • peunot much, title (adverb)
  • beaucoup = a lot (adverb)
  • mince (mince) = thin, slim
  • gros (grosse) = fat, large, big
  • stupide (stupide) = stupid
  • intelligent (intelligente) = intelligent
  • facile (facile) = easy
  • difficile (difficile) = difficult
  • endormi (endormie) = asleep, sleeping
  • éveillé (éveillée) = awake
